Herrow, peoples of DA! I know I haven't posted a journal in a really long time, but I have exciting news! I, miss shy-never-wants-to-perform-for-a-crowd-of-people, have joined a Repo! The Genetic Opera shadowcast! Although I'll only be an extra, this is a huge step for me overcoming my shyness. Also, I thought I'd tell you a little about what happened...
So, one day, the seniors had the day off of school, but there was play practice (I'm on sound by the way). And it was in the middle of the day so I had to take the bus to school. On the way there, I was playing the Repo! songs in my head as always, and at the Esquire theater, I thought I saw the word "Genetic" thinking it was just because I had Repo! on the mind, I did a double take, realizing Repo! was going to be playing at midnight! I had to go! We got there super early, we were the first ones there. I had my face painted to look like I had a skin graft and I hung a blue glowstic- I mean Zydrate, from my collar. So we waited a while and people in costumes started showing up. I got hugs ^w^. So, we finally got into the movie and OH. MY. GOD! It was like I was watching a completely different movie! Except, it had the same lines and looked the same, only bigger. But it was so much better!!! I thought I loved the movie before! It was just so amazing!!! Anyway, after the movie, I was talking to the costume people, and apparently they are in a shadowcast, and looking for extras. Without any hesitation I said "I am so in!" I can't wait, I want to get over my shyness, dammit! And I think this is the best way to do that! We hung out for about an hour after the show. It was so funny, because I gave Shilo some Zydrate and Nathan yelled at me. Then she gave the Zydrate to a Gentern and went up to Grave Robber and got some more. It was epic!

Edit: I've never felt so good about standing up and yelling to a bunch of people I didn't know!!!! They were short one person, so they gave me a line tonight... a loud line. And honestly, I don't think I did that bad. In fact, I was the loudest of all the yelling parts! I'm really happy I decided to join that group.
